Follow up: Kes Hattan Nak DiCampak ke Laut

Ahli Parlimen Sri Gading, Datuk Mohamed Aziz semasa sidang Dewan Rakyat lalu mendakwa Hattan menyanyikan lagu Negaraku tidak mengikut versi sebenar. Beliau merujuk nyanyian Hattan semasa perlawanan akhir Piala Malaysia di Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil.

``Penyanyi itu patut dihukum, dia patut dihumban ke laut,'' demikian kata Mohamed Aziz.

Mawi diberi peluang jadi deejay Red 104.9

Memang Mawi mempunyai karier yg cerah dlm industri seni tanahair... Kalau refer to my reference, Utusan Malaysia 16 Januari 2006. Mawi membuktikan bakatnya sewaktu diundang menjadi deejay jemputan program Autograf di stesen Red 104.9 di Kuala Lumpur baru-baru ini.
Mawi tidak berasa kekok walaupun itu adalah kali pertama dia ke udara secara langsung menerusi stesen radio popular tersebut selama dua jam tanpa henti.

Jadi, kepada yg iri hati sangat kat Mawi, terutama pendengki kat channel 15 Astro tuh, renti kan lah tohmahan korang mengata si Mawi nie. Korang tak dapat apa pun, rezeki Mawi tu jugak yg mencurah curah... dah jadi jutawan dah pun... korang plak menghabiskan sms kat channel 15. Apa korang dapat?

Mawi dah buktikan bakat nyanyian nyer... 2 album dia buat... terjual lebih 300 000 unit. Nak bukti kan apa lagi? Nak kata Mawi sombong? iyer ker? Anyway... contoh ni lah yg kita nak tonjol kan... jangan ingat artis berimej baik tidak boleh kehadapan... jangan ingat, dunia hiburan hanya mementingkan paras rupa bukan bakat, sebenar bakat dan personality yg baik boleh membuka jalan seseorang artis itu untuk berjaya di dlm industri seni tanah air...

The Failure of 'Mencari Cinta'

Lastly, TV3 realized that, "Mencari Cinta" program is not suitable in the Malaysian environment and it is full of controversies. TV3 must take into consideration the sensitivity of Malay viewer when they want to introduce any new program which is similar like that. A program that adopted from the west is not necessarily suitable into our culture. A lot of american reality show programs are not suitable to be introduced in Malaysian culture such as 'Fear Factor' (the disgusting part), 'Simple Life', 'Average Joe', 'American Most Top Model', etc... No matter much effort (the customization of culture) has been put to make it acceptable but as in total, the whole concept of searching life partners is still far from the aspiration of Malay tradition and culture. This might be a good lesson to TV3. They must alert to the Malaysian sensivity especially to the Malay community. On the other hands, TV3 can try to approach the reality show concept from the west which is really good to be followed such as 'The Apperentice', 'Amazing Race' etc... A lot of good lesson

Anyway, 'Bersamamu' still become the best effort from TV3 for helping the hopeless and the needy. Keep up this good efforts.

KUALA LUMPUR 11 Jan. - Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Berhad (TV3) membuat keputusan menghentikan program realiti televisyen Mencari Cinta yang gagal menjodohkan Elly Zakaria dan jejaka pilihannya, Danial Iskandar Abdul Rahman.

Bagaimanapun Pengurus Besar Kumpulan Pengurusan Jenama TV3, Nurul Aini Abu Bakar berkata, langkah itu diambil bukan kerana kegagalan pasangan tersebut berkahwin atau ia pernah mencetuskan kontroversi tetapi disebabkan stesen itu berhasrat menerbitkan sebuah program realiti televisyen yang baru.

``Program itu lebih kurang sama formatnya seperti Mencari Cinta tetapi dalam versi Cina,'' katanya kepada Utusan Malaysia ketika dihubungi di sini.

Mencari Cinta pernah menjadi isu hangat di kalangan masyarakat apabila program itu dikatakan kurang sesuai dengan aspirasi dan budaya masyarakat Melayu dalam soal mencari jodoh.

Isu itu juga menarik perhatian ahli-ahli politik apabila ia turut diketengahkan pada sidang Dewan Rakyat.
Malah, sehingga kini Mencari Cinta terus diperkatakan ramai apabila pemenangnya, Danial, 31, tidak mempunyai sebarang perancangan untuk mengahwini pasangannya dalam program itu, Elly, 29.

My First Word

This blog might be my first step to improve (by commenting sincerely) our entertainment industry. When I refer to the ‘entertainment industry’ it comprises music, film, drama, commercial break, documentary, news, awards presentation ceremony, video clip, radio, tv, gossiping, underground gig, magazine or theatre industries. Anything… anything related to our entertainment industry. It is not rigid to one single aspect of entertainment. The scope of reviewing and commenting is very wide and it is still beyond my expectation right now. I hope my ideas will grow with the support from the readers.

To be frank, I'm not a professional commenter, but all my comments actually base on my personal views plus the other people surround me. I’m not a professional writer too (you can judge by the way I'm writing this blog), but my intention to write is too strong. I don’t care what people said on my style of writing. In fact, I noticed that my grammar is terrible too. But, I still want to write. I want to share my ideas to the ‘Karyawan’ and the audience out there.

This blog is try to balance the idea from the ‘karyawan’ and the needs from audience. There are so many level of audience with a different needs and understanding about the entertainment industry. When I speak about the audience, I need another space to discuss it in detail about the 'audience' and how to classify the ‘audience’. Audience can comments and critics what our ‘Karyawan’ has done but, the percentage of those voices must reflect to some indicator for our ‘Karyawan’ to response back (positively).

I try to support my ideas of writing with references. Those references can justify any evidences or facts revealed in my blog. For the ‘commenter’ who ‘likes’ or ‘want to’ to comment my blog also required to include some references for me to review back those facts commented in my blog.
